Dine onboard the old icebreaker

Elbjørn was built in 1953 as an icebreaker and was in function from 1954 to 1996. However, in 1996, Elbjørn was damaged and after that, its icebreaking days were numbered. In 2003, Elbjørn was sold and renovated as well as redesigned into a restaurant ship. Today, Elbjørn represents a food experience with quality as the most important ingredient and the best view of the fjord as the icing on the cake.

Elbjørn offers a varied à la carte menu as well as a tempting lunch menu with, among other courses, light café dishes. The ships cosy and maritime atmosphere makes it an ideal location for alle types of functions.

Gourmet meal onboard the old school ship by the docks

Prinses Juliana was built in Holland in 1931 and functioned as a training ship until more modern ships took over in 1969. The princess was then redesigned to fulfill her new role as a restaurant ship.

Today Prinses Juliana, who is tastefully decorated with respect for her history, welcomes guests to an excellent gourmet experience in Aalborg harbor. Try the surprise menu, and – if the weather permits – start your evening with a drink on the deck. While you wait on the food, you can study the small brochure with the ship's interesting history.
