Budolfi Church

The Cathedral of St. Budolf is constructed at the end of the 14th century in Gothic style. Large yellow bricks have been used to build a nave, two aisles, an armoury, and turret rooms.

History of Budolfi Cathedral
In 1899-1900 the vestry was added, facing north and the Old Square by way of an extensive renovation undertaken by royal builder Hack Kampmann, and in 1942-43 royal builder Einar Packness laid out another 14 meters for the choir as well as the chapel building facing south and the street, Algade.The Baroque spire was erected in 1779.

The church has room for around 650 people and there is chimes on the hour from 8am to 10pm.
