The Irish House is situated in one of the old buildings in Aalborg – Jørgen Olufsens Gård, a merchant’s house from 1616. Jørgen Olufsen was the half brother of another famous Aalborg citizen, Jens Bang, who built the most famous building in Aalborg - Jens Bangs Stenhus.
